Self Photo Studios have a few different brands throughout the island, and Photonara is one of them. They’re a self-photo studio in Bugis Junction, and they’re all about keeping it simple. Patrons can choose between black, white, or grey backdrops, and the basic package covers 20 minutes to take photos, as well as 10 minutes to choose the photos to be printed for $30. Furthermore, this package also includes one photo print where you can choose the number of pictures in the layout, as well as digital copies of the printed photos. You can also give a self-photo session gift card to your friends and family!

2. Life4cut

Life4cut is a chain of adorable, Korean-style photobooth studios. They’ve got tons of props and costumes to play around with, and overall makes a super fun experience for you and your friends. They’ve got a ton of frames to choose from, and you can get two printed copies, a soft copy of the print, and even a gif video of your photobooth session, all for only $10! They’re definitely one of the most affordable self-photo studios in Singapore, and in our books, that makes it one of the best self-photo studios in Singapore. Not to mention, their stores are often run without any staff, so it’s a completely self-service photo studio, and you don’t even need to make a booking beforehand.

3. ZCube

ZCube makes it super fun and easy to take photos. They’ve got seven themes to choose from, and feel free to dress up and play around with their massive array of props and costumes! Their site makes it really easy to book an appointment, so you don’t have to wait in line while waiting for the previous patrons to finish their session. For two people, it’s $45, and you get two copies of 4R sized photos, and soft copies of all your photos. In addition to that, their self-photo studios can accommodate up to six people for $65, so it’s a great activity for larger groups. They’re located in the western region of the island, so you no longer have to travel so far to experience a self-photo studio photoshoot!

A pet-friendly self-photo studio in Singapore? Say no more, we’re sold. For 15 minutes, you can take unlimited pictures with your pet, friends, grandma, or whoever else you want! It’s $35 for two people, and they have a ton of backdrops to choose from. You can also opt to print either three copies of 5R photos, or one 5R photo with 1 5R photo collage. For pets, it’s an extra $20, but we think it’s worth it to be able to bring your furbaby to a fun photoshoot session.

5. Fotoautomat

Fotoautomat reminds us of the true magic of real photo booths. Their analogue machines were built in the 1980s, refurbished, and were imported from the United States, so you’ll get a real sense of the classic way to take pictures inside a small photo booth, just like in the movies. You won’t get to see the photos before they’re printed, but it just makes it all the fun to do silly poses, wait for the picture to come out in the collection slot, and see how well the pictures turn out. It only costs $4 for a four picture strip, and you don’t even have to make a booking. It’s super popular, so you might have to wait in line for a while, but we think it’s definitely worth experiencing. Another affordable self-photo studio / photobooth, Dollop Print Club has the best of both worlds. The company has six photo booths scattered throughout Singapore, as well as a self-photo studio conveniently located at Arab Street. Dollop Print Club, which are their photo booths, were the first automated photo booths in Singapore, combining vintage aesthetics with modern technology. Dollop Automat Self Studio on the other hand, is an actual photo studio with professional-grade cameras and studio lighting, where you have 15 minutes to take all the pictures you want after you’ve made a booking through their website. Fodoshot is another studio that makes it on our list of best self-photo studios in Singapore. Located in Far East Plaza, it’s a great studio for you to take pictures with your family and friends! They’re open from 11AM to 9PM daily, and they have a ton of backdrops for you to choose from. For $50, you and another person have 20 minutes to take unlimited photographs, and you have another 10 minutes to choose your photos. You can print six 4R photos, which is the most photos that any self-photo studio in Singapore offers.
