After much anticipation, YG Entertainment has confirmed that BLACKPINK is set to make a comeback in August this year. The renowned K-pop girl group will also hold the largest scale world tour.
According to YG Entertainment,” BLACKPINK is in the last stages of recording for their new album. They will start shooting their movie in mid-July and plan on taking over this summer with their new song in August.”
“We prepared a number of songs that’s full of BLACKPINK’s characteristics, and they’ve been working on it really hard. Along with the comeback, BLACKPINK will also go on a world tour of the largest scale as a K-POP girl group until the end of the year, to expand interaction with fans from all around the world. We’ll continuously carry out large-scale projects that can live up to their status.”
This comeback also indicates BLACKPINK’s return a year and 10 months after the release of their full album titled,’ The Album’ in 2020 which includes songs like ‘How You Like That’, and ‘’Ice Cream’.
