The entertainment industry is buzzing with the news today that Jimin of BTS will release his first solo OST for K-drama, Our Blues.

It was believed that the news was first informed by a source from Yamyam Entertainment, the company that managed the OST for Our Blues, tvN’s upcoming series.

The source claimed that “Jimin will be participating as an OST singer for tvN’s new Saturday-Sunday drama ‘Our Blues.’ Since world-class group BTS’s Jimin will be joining us, we will energize the drama with a masterpiece OST song that harmonizes well with the flow of the story” as translated by Soompi.

However, further details of the unreleased song have yet to be announced to the public. The first episode of Our Blues is scheduled to be aired this 9th April at 9:10 PM KST. It will also be available on a streaming platform, Netflix.

Other BTS members have released their solo tracks for several OST dramas. Jin has released a soundtrack titled “Yours” for Jirisan whereas V participated in “Christmas Tree” For Our Beloved Summer.

Our Blues features a star-studded line up which includes Shin Min Ah, Lee Byung Hun, Han Ji Min, Kim Woo Bin, Cha Seung Won, Lee Jung Eun, Kim Hye Ja, Go Doo Shim and Uhm Jung Hwa. The 20 episode drama is set on Jeju Island with a backdrop that captures the life of several characters.
