Claude, an Indonesian fashion retailer, has opened its first store in Takashimaya Shopping Center, marking its first outlet outside of its home country.
Inside the 1600 square foot store, the modern interior features lilac and green hues with plant installations that are Instagram-worthy backdrops. The store is also equipped with a cave-like lounge room that allows visitors to relax.

To commemorate the brand’s debut in Singapore, Claude unveiled a special collection called The Wildflower. The collection features elevated dresses and separates with breezy pleated designs decorated with abstract watercolour florals.
On the contrary, the Everyday by Claude line, which caters to Gen Zs offers edgy and chic pieces with tailored cuts and cut-outs. Among the fan favourite pieces from the collection are the Tame Jumpsuit, which happens to be co-founder Christie Johana’s personal pick, Sid Dress, Muan Top, Benne Skirt and Zavu Dress.

As part of the grand opening, the brand also hosted a two-day event which included a luncheon and a grand store opening attended by personalities such as Jamie Chua, Andrea Chong and Aimee Cheng-Bradshaw.
Established in 2018, Claude is founded by the husband-and-wife duo of Christie Johana and Tommy Budihardjo. The brand is renowned for its “Adaptive Fashion” model, which manufactures pieces based on demand, revolutionising the fashion industry to minimise its carbon footprint.
