Well, this particular combination was actually first curated by Dyson engineers when they were working on the Dyson Electric Vehicle project. It was during that time that colour became a real focus for the design team at Dyson.
While they were trying to curate an elegant and perpetual palette for the car’s interior, the team wanted to find an alternative to the colour black. While the colour black is classic and sophisticated, Founder and Chief Engineer James Dyson mentioned that it is widely overused. And we agree.
He said: “We have a purposeful colour selection process for our technology and we look beyond the obvious. The new Prussian Blue and Rich Copper were originally selected for our car, we wanted to inject interest colour into the automotive industry, which is normally dominated by a boring blanket of black.”
And so, the combination of Prussian Blue and Rich Copper was born. Drawing inspiration from Dyson’s engineering portfolio, the team put great significance when using these colours. Each colour placement is intricately considered. The prussian blue adds elegance while the rich copper accent highlights the core of Dyson’s engineering within each tool. The rich copper encases the circular aperture of the Dyson Supersonic hairdryer, a very distinct element of Dyson’s magnificent product.

Dyson Airwrap Styler

This is an even bigger problem for people with naturally dry hair. Similar to the Dyson Supersonic hair dryer, the Dyson Airwrap Styler also features the brand’s intelligent heat control technology. If you did not know, the Dyson Airwrap Styler features the Dyson Digital Motor, which sits at the heart of the styler and creates something called the ‘coanda’ effect, which then helps to style your hair.
