Taiwanese superstar, Jay Chou is set to hold a two-day concert in Singapore as part of his Carnival World Tour. The concert which was announced over social media this morning by its organiser, G.H.Y Culture & Media will take place at the National Stadium on December 17 and 18 at 8 pm.
The Carnival World Tour celebrates his 20 years of achievements in the music industry in which he released his debut album back in 2000. The upcoming concert marked Jay Chou’s return to Singapore after his last concert which was held prior to the pandemic in January 2020. Fans of the Mando-pop king can expect a visually energising representation of his greatest hits.
Although the number of attendees has yet to be confirmed, the Singapore National Stadium could seat up to 55,000 people prior to the pandemic. With the current guideline, a venue that can hold over 1,000 people will be allowed to operate at 75 per cent capacity.
