Oh and speaking of a party gathering, it wouldn’t be perfect without some good smokey, Korean BBQ feast! When it comes to Korean street food, Kong Cafe is a must-stop destination. There are two locations of Kong Cafe, one in Bukit Timah and one in Thomson, both of which serve wonderful food. We highly recommend the Blueberry Honey Pizza and the Bulgogi Pizza, both of which are available in the Bukit Timah store. But don’t worry if you’re not a huge risk-taker; there are plenty of classic Korean dishes to choose from, such as fried chicken and seafood ramyun.

A trip to a Korean restaurant in the East will be a culinary delight. Two Cranes is a Korean cafe that serves up bingsu with a local spin in the neighbourhood. For those who crave a small taste of Singapore, Pulut Hitam Bingsu from Two Cranes is a great option. Other than that, you can find many brunch options here that have a little Korean spin. We highly recommend the Spicy Dakgalbi Chicken Scrambled and the Beef Bulgogi Tartine.

82Bunsik, a new idea by PLUS EIGHT TWO, is a sweet shop serving up tasty desserts. 82bunsik does have all the ambience and decor of a Korean cafe, just like the ones you’d find in Seoul. Additionally, they serve a wide variety of Korean specialities such as Tteok-bokki and sweet-and-spicy chicken. Furthermore you can find Croffles and Corn Dogs, which are pretty famous. On the other hand, those with a sweet tooth can try the Bingsu.

15. The Chir Cafe + Bar
The Chir Cafe + Bar is the latest cafe-bar concept from Korean fried chicken brand Chir Chir. In addition, it joins the vibrant culinary scene in Holland Village. You can find a wide range of brunch and contemporary options, all of which feature a Korean twist. We personally enjoy the fried chicken and croffle, that’s a mix between sweet and savoury. Of course, if you’re looking for something spicy then try the Sriracha Cheese Popcorn Chicken.
