1. Second Uniqlo and Mame Kurogouchi Collection

UNIQLO announces it will bring out a second collaboration collection with fashion designer Maiko Kurogouchi. The new offering is in response to the tremendously successful debut of Uniqlo and Mame Kurogouchi in summer this year. The collection blends exquisite designs that enhance feminine curves with advanced UNIQLO technology. Therefore, it helps to deliver exceptional comfort, even in the depths of winter. Items transition seamlessly from innerwear to clothing, looking great by themselves or when layered.

“It brings me joy to contribute meaningfully to women’s lifestyles through innerwear. I devoted a lot of thought to enhancing details and making fine adjustments to add beauty and comfort. I wanted to capture the essence of the feminine physique and celebrate it with natural curves. A desire to make this collection accessible to women everywhere was a constant consideration. I’m pleased with the results,” says Maiko Kurogouchi.

A Look Into The Collection

The collection enhances beauty and comfort and uplifts the spirit as soon as items are put on, adding candor to daily living. It combines Mame Kurogouchi’s delicate designs with UNIQLO’s advanced fabrics and 3D knit technology for comfortable, carefree living. In addition, bras, panties, bra tops, and other items employ soft AIRism cotton and mesh. This material prevents perspiration even under warm winter layers. Elegant curves, beautiful back styling, and other chic details shine through the collection. A 3D knit cardigan with contours and ribbed pants accentuates feminine beauty.

The Collection’s Colour Palette

The colour palette graduates from white to black, focusing on warm grey. This is done to blend in with women’s wardrobes and enhance skin tones on winter days. This timeless collection is primarily for wearers to feel great while also looking wonderful.

The Uniqlo and Mame Kurogouchi Collection will be available from December 3. The full collection is available at Orchard Central Global Flagship, ION Orchard stores, and UNIQLO online. Other than that, a partial lineup is available at all stores.

2. UNIQLO and JW ANDERSON 2021 Fall/Winter Collection

For the chilly season, UNIQLO will be partnering with JW ANDERSON to release the JW ANDERSON 2021 Fall/Winter collection on December 3. The collection takes inspiration from Beatrix Potter, a classic children’s author and illustrator. This latest collaboration with the internationally renowned, award-winning London-based brand brings an urban touch to serene country weekend living. Other than that, the collection continues UNIQLO’s ongoing quest to deliver the ultimate in everyday comfort through LifeWear. Which is simple, high-quality everyday clothing that is affordable and makes everyone’s life better.

“For me this collection was really about embracing the season. I wanted something that felt very Autumnal in a way and that also felt quite like Autumn in the British countryside. I wanted it to feel comfortable and worn. Almost cosy in a way,” says designer Jonathan Anderson.

What Can You Find In This Collection?

Well, the collection features traditional tartans and accent stitching. Hence, these create a fresh contrast in an autumnal and winter colour palette. Other than that, comfy quilting and toasty fleece are what you can find for the perfect relaxing weekend. You will also find new additions to this collaboration collection. These include loungewear and home accessories such as cushions and blankets.

Like many people in the world, designer Jonathan Anderson adores Beatrix Potter. Especially her most famous creation Peter Rabbit and his cousin Benjamin Bunny. Thus, this is why you can find the characters in distinctively delightful prints on unisex sweatshirts and oversized T-shirts. This lineup includes 10 items for women and 10 items for men, two unisex items, and seven accessories.

The collection will be launching from 10th December 2021, with the full line available on 20th December 2021. It will be available exclusively at UNIQLO Orchard Central Global Flagship and UNIQLO ION Orchard stores, and UNIQLO online.
