Louis Vuitton Unveils Le Chocolat Maxime Frédéric at Marina Bay Sands Singapore

Louis Vuitton has announced the opening of Le Chocolat Maxime Frédéric at its flagship in Marina Bay Sands Singapore, marking its first-ever chocolaterie boutique outside of France.

Le Chocolat Maxime Frédéric features an exquisite selection of artisanal chocolates that draw inspiration from the brand’s house codes and are presented in iconic boxes emblematic of the Maison.

Created by Maxime Frédéric, the award-winning Chef Pâtissier of Cheval Blanc Paris, the chocolates are meticulously handcrafted with the finest ingredients and expert savoir-faire.

His creations reflect the “les secrets de nos vergers,” which translates to the secrets of the orchards. The ingredients are sourced from his own farm in Normandy and small-scale cocoa farmers in Vietnam, Peru, Madagascar, the Dominican Republic, and São Tome.

At the chocolaterie boutique in Marina Bay Sands, guests can marvel at a cinematic display of chocolates akin to sculptures of art atop an undulating counter. The curvilinear counter in natural oak is encircled by stacked trunks interspersed with niches that showcase the boxed chocolate creations.

The highlight of Frédéric’s creations is the Vivienne on Malle, which sits atop a trunk and pirouettes with a simple twist using a chocolate key. The Petula, a signature mascot of Louis Vuitton reimagined as a piñata with an enviable amount of coated hazelnuts.

Other chocolate offerings available are Damier-shaped Chocolate Tablets, Monogram Flowers, Chocolate Bars, and Filled Trunk Tablets, all taking inspiration from Louis Vuitton’s signature motifs.

This Valentine’s Day, Frédéric has exclusively created the Filled Heart Saint Valentine, comprising five heart-shaped chocolates in three delicate flavours of pistachio, almond, and hazelnut.
