Based in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland, Edouard Koehn Master Watchmaker 1891 is an independent family-owned watchmaking company. The family-run business and its eponymous timepieces are named after Edouard Koehn (1839 to 1908), who began his horological career as a clockmaker to the court of the Grand Duchy of Saxe-Weimar-Eisenach in Germany.
Today, the revival of the Edouard Koehn brand is an acknowledgment of both the founder’s exceptional horological skills, and the need to safeguard and perpetuate the Swiss watch industry’s leading role in high horology. The brand’s philosophy is expressed in its introductory collections: the Tempus I Chronograph, Tempus II “Open Heart” mono-pusher chronograph and World Heritage World Time with Alarm.
“Our family is honoured and delighted to debut the Edouard Koehn collections in Southeast Asia through the regional network of Sincere Fine Watches. Underpinned with decades of experience with a team of dedicated watch industry professionals, we truly value this long-term partnership with Singapore’s oldest name in luxury watch retail.’’
He continued, ‘’We believe that the synergies resulting from the commitment will lead to unprecedented success.” said Mr. Bernard Fleury, Chief Executive Officer of Edouard Koehn and patriarch of the family-owned business.
Mr. Ong Ban, Chief Executive Officer, Sincere Fine Watches notes, “We are pleased to welcome Edouard Koehn into the expanding regional retail network of Sincere Fine Watches. We see potential in this brand and with our domain expertise. Edouard Koehn complements our existing brand portfolio offering and the addition of a new player clearly demonstrates the dynamism of the luxury watch industry.’’
