Shoppers can celebrate the Lunar New Year at “Spring In The City” with gifts, exciting offerings, new changes at Raffles City. 

“As we welcome the Year of the Tiger, Raffles City is excited to celebrate the festivities with our shoppers with exclusive gifts with purchases, art exhibitions and new stores opening.” Mr Steve Ng, General Manager of Raffles City Singapore, said.

You can get a chance to redeem limited edition BE@RBRICK red packets and tote bags when you shop. For every $100 spent, shoppers will receive a free red packet and for every $300 spent, they will receive tote bags.

The fashion and lifestyle mall will also be holding a free art exhibition entitled “Journey of Joy”  in collaboration with Ode to Art. It features artworks by four known international artists namely Coplu, Byun Dae-Yong, Takashi Murakami, and Wu Qiong. 

The artworks feature several themes such as love, friendship, nostalgia, childhood, and more that the shoppers will witness and enjoy. It will be held at Garden Court Level 1 where 22 pieces of artwork will be displayed, with prices ranging from $4,500 to $35,000. The exhibition will run until 15 February.

Want to shop, dine, and relax during the Chinese New Year? With staycations increasing in popularity in the country nowadays, Raffles City also offers ‘Shop and Stay’ staycation at Fairmont Singapore. Customers who will book a room at the hotel will also receive exclusive shopping privileges and vouchers from Mango and Urban Revivo. This offers runs from mid-February till end of June 2022 with room rates starting at $350++ on weekdays and $430++ on weekends and public holidays.

If you are looking for a new place to feast, customers can also enjoy dining at the newly opened “House of Wei”, a new Chinese restaurant that adds a contemporary twist to classic Chinese cuisine. Another place to check out is the internationally celebrated fine-dining restaurant, Jaan by Kirk Westaway. The restaurant rose to two-star Michelin ranking and celebrated its fifth year of recognition since Singapore’s inaugural list in 2016. 

As we usher in the Year of the Tiger, Raffles City also welcomes new changes and further developments for the mall. The mall is set to undergo a renovation in the upcoming months as they aim to offer new and upcoming specialty retail and large format stores for all their shoppers. 

The soon-to-open stores to anticipate include Sephora, Acqua di Parma, Calvin Klein’s 3-in-1 concept store, ELEMIS London and RATIONALE. British retailer Marks & Spencer, which opened in Raffles City 35 years ago, is also set to re-launch with a brand new store concept. 

Raffles City will reveal its other new concepts and brands in the upcoming months. 

With a larger space to roam around and new escalators to be added, the new changes aim to also improve the shopping experience for the customers.
