The world’s first Chatuchak Night Market outside of Thailand greets Sawadee to Singaporeans as it returns this year, from 7 February to 2 April. The open-air market will be open on every Tuesdays to Sundays from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. and will resume to its old location, the Grandstand South Carpark on Turf Club Road in Bukit Timah.

The open-air market will be open on every Tuesdays to Sundays

This year, the market will feature over 180 vendors selling street food, handicrafts, and antiques, with some even flying in from the original location in Bangkok on a rotating basis. Around 200 seats will be built around the 20,000 sq. ft. festival venue so that guests can enjoy their goodies with a cold one while taking in the colourful environment.

“We brought the famed open-air night market back as we hope to reproduce the ambiance of Thai-style night markets and enable guests to experience a larger range of Thai food beyond tom yum soup and pad thai,” said Keith Tay, event organiser of Chatuchak Singapore. If you haven’t been to Bangkok since the coronavirus epidemic, you may receive a comparable experience here at a reproduction of the Bangkok market with our delightful range of Thai street food and souvenirs.”

For visitors who are looking to make multiple trips to the venue, there will be complimentary parking or free shuttle buses from Botanic Gardens, Clementi, and Toa Payoh to take them to and fro.
