So it is actually easy to miss out on their signage. The Supulae Korean BBQ is owned by two Korean sisters and they are often seen welcoming customers with their warm smiles.

Every table features a built-in charcoal grilling section with fume extraction fumes located above it to filter the air. Additionally, the tables are also catered to different groups with a maximum of eight people per table. The walls are decorated with graphics of the Korean subway line and a few advertisement posters. At Supulae Korean BBQ, the BBQ menu is offered in the set and ala carte. So, if you are unsure which one to select, it is better to go with the BBQ set and if you ever need to add more meat, simply order the ala carte dishes. There are about four BBQ sets available namely Pork Set A, Pork Set B, Pork Set C and Pork Set D. Primarily each of these sets is curated with different main meats like pork belly, pork collar, chicken sausage, beef brisket, marinated chicken and marinated beef rib.

On top of that, it also comes with steamed egg, two bowls of rice and banchan or side dishes. Guests can also select their choice of soup ranging from kimchi, soft tofu to bean paste. If you’re dining with a large group of people, make sure to order a sufficient amount since the BBQ sets are recommended for two or three pax only. The majority of the local people prefer the Pork Set C and Pork Set D since it comprises marinated meats that are flavoursome. The price range for the BBQ set is between $38.80 and $58.80.

They also offer an extensive list of a la carte menus for BBQ meat, so guests can opt for additional meats if they want to. Amongst the available options are fresh pork belly, marinated pork collar, marinated beef rib with bone, beef tongue, beef brisket, marinated chicken, prawns, assorted mushroom set and chicken sausage. The estimated price per plate for these additional items are from $9.80 to $28. If you are head over heels for side dishes like us, they also provide plentiful options like spring onion salad ($5), seafood steamed egg ($12), steamed egg ($5) and steamed rice ($2).

As a foodie, we highly recommend you to try out one of their stews including ham & sausage stew and beef bulgogi stew. For those who prefer spicy food, make sure to choose between kimchi & pork stew or beef & octopus stew. Since these stews are made for three people, they are perfect for sharing with your friends. All of the kimchi stews cost about $34.80 and guests can choose to add on additional ingredients like ramyun noodle, octopus, spam ham, seaweed, glass noodle, cheese and fried rice.

Plus, local people also have been secretly flocking over to Supulae Korean BBQ to try out their Korean pancake. Needless to say, it is actually one of the best compared to other Korean restaurants. Personally, we love the kimchi pancake but you can select other variants as well like seafood pancake, vegetable pancake and half & half pancake. The pancakes are super crispy and savoury, perfect for those who like fried food.

What’s more, Supulae Korean BBQ also offers a plethora of rice and soup menus. So if you want to skip Korean BBQ, you can select from the delectable dishes that they offer. There are several must-try items that you can choose including ginseng chicken soup ($22.80), kimchi fried rice ($12.80), spicy fish roe soup ($18) and rice with mixed vegetables ($13.80). Although we are blessed with sunny weather all year round, sometimes it can get too much, especially on a hot day. The best way to cool it all off is by indulging in cold noodle soup or spicy cold noodle soup at Supulae Korean BBQ.

We suggest that you try out the traditional Korean beverages namely Shikhye and Soo Jeong Gwa, in which the latter is ideal for those who like the sweet cinnamon taste.
