Valentine’s Day, despite its stereotype as an excessively ‘’overly-hyped’’ celebration, is no doubt one of the special days that (most) lovers look forward to. 1. Estate 

If you and your partner share a passion for seafood, make your reservation at Estate by Hilton Singapore to feast on ocean goods like Lobster, Crab, and Seafood Buffet ($158 per person). From February 10 to 14, anticipate a splendid spread of snow crab legs, freshly shucked oysters, lobster thermidor, and all demeanour of seafood dishes to feast on. 2. Ippoh Tempura Bar

Chef Masaru Seki prepares a six-course meal ($258++ per person) for Valentine’s Day that includes one-of-a-kind dishes like round temari sushi with shrimp, kuromame (sweet black soybeans) with gold leaf and sous-vide wagyu steak ponzu jelly, tenbara (tempura and rice) with black truffles, and an indulgent sea urchin tempura and Kaviari Kristal caviar. Seki will also provide his wispy yet strongly flavoured Osaka-style tempura.

3. Osteria Mozza

Celebrate Valentine’s Day with a four-course set dinner ($299++ per couple) at celebrity chef Nancy Silverton’s Osteria Mozza. Pan-seared Hokkaido scallops with cauliflower purée and caper raisin dressing, spaghetti frutti di mare with lobster, cuttlefish, prawns, and clams, striploin Diane with pancetta, apple brandy, and fried rosemary, and chocolate tartufo, a southern Italian dessert consisting of gelato and scorched chocolate, are among the best bits.

4. Wolfgang’s Steakhouse

Wolfgang’s Steakhouse ($428 per couple) offers a Valentine’s Day menu packed with aphrodisiacs and premium steaks. The four-course meal begins with oysters coated with caviar, accompanied by a hearty minestrone soup. The main course options range from petite fillet mignon to king salmon, with the restaurant’s classic porterhouse steak priced at an additional S$50++. Keep some place in your stomach for the Smitten delicacy, which combines berries, lychee, pomegranate, and whipped cream.

5. Sarai Fine Thai

Sarai Fine Thai is where the familiar meets the fancy. The five-course Valentine’s Day set meal (S$98 per person) begins with a hot Lab Hed (mushroom salad) and goong sarong (prawns encased in crunchy shredded pastry) presented with a zesty chilli sauce. Follow that with traditional tom yum goong before diving into kow pad khi kem (egg and salted egg yolk fried rice wrapped with crispy wild rice). The delicious finish is provided with kanom piak poon, or pandan coconut pudding stratified with soft coconut flesh.

6. The Dempsey Cookhouse And Bar

This modern American restaurant’s adoring service and consistent quality food make for an effortless love story. The relaxed Singapore outpost of Jean-George Vongerichten serves a four-course meal (S$138 per person) that includes sea urchin with toasted black bread, marinated duck breast, and caramel apple panna cotta.

Clos Pasoh’s Chef Louis Pacquelin will be delivering a special 5-course dinner ($128++) on Valentine’s Day exclusively. Dishes like Saint Marcelin rôtis aux épices douces à partager and Filet de boeuf rôtis au poivre de Kâmpôt sauce foie gras are recommended.
