Ever wondered what it would be like to dine in the sky? Make your dreams come true at LAVO Italian Restaurant & Rooftop Bar, where you’ll be king of the clouds, 57 stories above the city. It’s an award-winning Italian-American, helmed by Ralph Scamardella, a protégé of the illustrious Daniel Boulud. Beyond the jaw-dropping views, scrumptious signature dishes like the Charred Octopus and LAVO Meatball, sip on some bubbly at their Sunday Champagne brunch, every weekend from 12pm to 3pm. Honestly, we’d make a reservation just for their 20 Layer Chocolate Cake.

We know we’ve mentioned Daniel Boulud’s former trainee Ralph Scamardella, but Chef Daniel Boulud’s very own dB Bistro & Oyster Bar is 100% on our list of the best restaurants in Marina Bay. Featuring French-American cuisine with contemporary flair, this restaurant is home to Singapore’s largest and freshest selection of oysters. Not only that, you can also find some good ol’ signature burgers at this eatery, and trust us, their burgers are not to be missed. 5. Bread Street Kitchen

British food may have a bad rep, but Bread Street Kitchen deserved anything but. Owned by Gordon Ramsay and led by Chef Alaistair Clayton, this restaurant is modelled after its London counterpart, offering a British European menu using fresh seasonal produce. Of course, it wouldn’t be Gordon Ramsay’s restaurant without his signature beef Wellington and fish and chips, but what makes this establishment really worth the hype is its Sunday Roast. Featuring three classic roast options; beef, chicken, and pork rack (with the trimmings!), spend some time with your friends and family over a hearty meal.

Caffe Fernet offers tantalising Italian cuisine, using surprising ingredients and local produce to create classic yet unexpected dishes, like the Rendang Short Ribs and Otah & Prawn Tortelloni (both pictured).
