The Singapore International Festival of Arts is set to return this year, spanning from May 17th to June 2nd.
This annual event is renowned for featuring celebrated local and international artists across various artistic disciplines, including film, music, art exhibitions, dance, and more.
With a theme of “They Declare,” it symbolises the diversity of voices that this festival honours. It is an emotive plea for audiences to reflect on their connection to the natural world and the myriad voices and existences around them, providing space for the coexistence of other faiths and ways of being.
The Singapore International Festival of Arts 2024 will feature five new productions, seven international shows, an immersive event that celebrates Singapore’s thriving theatrical scene, and kid-friendly programming pillars. The festival commissions for this year comprise WILFUL MACHINE created by Singapore visual artist Genevieve Chua, THE PROSE AND THE PASSION by theatre-makers Haresh Sharma and Chong Tze Chien, Singapore music artist Safuan Johari collaborated with Māori Choreographer Eddie Elliott for SUARA / Oro Rua, and many more.
The early bird tickets for SIFA 2024, which offer audiences a 15% discount, go on sale on February 20th at 5:00 p.m. and end on March 31st, 2024, at 11:59 p.m. For more details, click here.
