The Singapore Vegan Festival, organised by EatRoamLive annually, returns for its fourth edition on 27 August at Raffles City Convention Centre. 

The central theme of the festivals is all about sustainable healthy food options and food innovations for the future along with a stellar lineup of local and international chefs and speakers. During the festival, you can expect masterclasses from esteemed chefs, informative panel discussions, networking sessions, interactive workshops, and a variety of vegan food, drink, and shopping choices – all in one place. The Singapore Vegan Festival runs from 27 August until 04 September, featuring vegan food tours and unique vegan menu products in selected restaurants.

What to Expect in the Singapore Vegan Festival 2022

Chef Masterclasses

Visitors can look forward to attending and learning straight from local and international chefs. The lineup includes:

  • Michelin Bib Gourmand Chef Kaesavan (Lagnaa, Barefoot Dining)
  • Peruvian Chefs Tamara Chavez and Daniel Chavez (Canchita)
  • Chef Vincent Wong (Shangri-la Hotels Singapore)
  • Singapore Hawkerpreneurs Wayne Tan and Agatha Teo (Living Wholesome)
  • Australian culinary author Cherie Tu

Other changemakers are also present to lead the future of food. Chef masterclasses will happen on 27 August with classes happening all day starting at 11:00am.

Get ready to fill both your carts and bellies at the Vegan Market! From local to international brands available, you can explore a plethora of gourmet and lifestyle choices. It’s a great way to support local independent brands and businesses in the market. 

Additional brands have joined in this year’s market such as Angie’s Tempeh, Dr Trouble, Singapore, Kombynation, Oatside, Marylebone, Pure The Winery, Talula Hill Farm, and The Vegetarian Butcher.

On the other side, at the Food Village, visitors of the festival can discover more food choices, special menu items, and more. GoFarm, in partnership with Green Kitchen, offers to spotlight fresh local produce featured in delicious dishes. Find a vegan alternative to familiar dishes like sushi, mee siam, and Korean bibibamp from SupremeVege’s. 

In addition to that, visitors can expect Ahimsa Cafe, Shahi Maharani, FABA Foods, GoodFoodPeople by Salad Stop!, Planty of Love and Locaba to return to the festival.

Visitors who purchase a ticket at the festival are entitled to various workshops available. The workshops vary from discussing healthy eating habits to creating simple vegan snacks.

  • Cupcake Decoration with NikkiBakes

A great fun activity for kids, the cupcake decorating session teaches children how to frost and decorate cupcakes.

  • Healthy ‘Ferrero Rocher’ Truffle with The Clean Addicts

Learn how to create a healthy, vegan Ferrero Rocher while also learning how to incorporate superfoods into tasty desserts. Discover the benefits of going dairy-free, gluten-free, and using refined sugar.

  • Our Plate and the Planet
