After a few days of teasers, it has been confirmed that The International 2022 (TI11) will be hosted in Singapore, marking its first-ever tournament held in Southeast Asia.
It was reported that The International 2022 will take place at the Singapore Indoor Arena and Suntec Arena this October. The news was announced after the grand finals of the ESL One Stockholm Major.
Previously, the official Twitter account of Dota 2 had teased photos of several locations across Singapore before dropping the news yesterday. Although limited information is available on the TI11, it is expected that the two day passes cost around $250, based on the previous ticket prices.
The announcement has garnered much anticipation since it is the first time The International 2022, commonly known as TI11 was hosted in Southeast Asia. Aside from North America and Europe, The International was also held in Shanghai in 2019.
