Travel + Leisure World’s Best Awards and Condé Nast Traveler Readers’ Choice Awards, both represent the highest benchmark of excellence in the travel industry. This is why Banyan Tree Group and its resorts are honoured to be given top recognitions. Notably, Banyan Tree Group with operations in 23 countries, including Singapore, was in 19th place among the Top 25 Hotel Brands in the World by readers of Travel + Leisure.

Banyan Tree Group In The Travel + Leisure World’s Best Awards
In a year full of change and uncertainty, there remains a common wish in travelers, Singapore and other countries alike. And that is to travel again. Among the prestigious wins in the Travel + Leisure World’s Best Awards, Banyan Tree Cabo Marqués is among the Top 100 Hotels in the World. In fact, Banyan Tree Cabo Marqués came in number 70.
But that’s not all, they also made it into the Top 25 Resort Hotels in Mexico. Banyan Tree Cabo Marqués came in number 4 along with Banyan Tree Mayakoba in number 23. Not to forget, Banyan Tree Samui is in the Top 10 Southeast Asia Resort Hotels, coming at number 10.
Banyan Tree Group In The Condé Nast Traveler Readers’ Choice Awards
On the other hand, in the Condé Nast Traveler Readers’ Choice Awards, Banyan Tree Group was also among the world’s top resorts and hotels. Banyan Tree Mayakoba is among the Top 20 Resorts in Eastern Mexico. The resort specifically came in at number 10.
What’s more, Hacienda Xcanatun by Angsana is in the Top 20 Hotels in Mexico at number 8. While Angsana Riads Collection Marrakech is among the Top 15 Hotels in Northern Africa at number 12.
In Asia, the urban sanctuaries Banyan Tree Shanghai On The Bund is on the list of Top 20 Hotels in China at number 11. Alongside that, Banyan Tree Bangkok made it into the Top 10 Hotels in Bangkok, coming in at number 7.

More than 800,000 Condé Nast Traveler readers submitted responses rating their travel experiences across the globe. They also provide full snapshots about the places they cannot wait to return to next. During this time, the Travel + Leisure’s World’s Best Awards survey was open for voting from January through May 2021. This allows readers, those in Singapore too, to reflect on their travel experiences over a three-year period.
